Bachkoor Holland
Welcome to the website of the Bachkoor Holland. Under the direction of our permanent conductor and artistic director Gijs Leenaars, we will perform the Matthäus Passion by J.S. Bach in April 2026 in Lochem and Delft.
Since its foundation in 1921, Bachkoor Holland has been renowned for the exceptionally high level of performances of the works of J.S. Bach that are very faithful to the original scores. Conductor Gijs Leenaars is also chief conductor and artistic director of the Rundfunkchor in Berlin. Since 2018, the choir has had the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft as its home base.
